Can my car pass with the Check Engine light on?
No. An illuminated Check Engine light causes an automatic smog-check failure. Stop by and we can scan the diagnostic code free of charge.
What does “STAR station required” mean?
It means the DMV requires your inspection at a STAR-certified station. SKY Smog is STAR certified and can complete that test.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome, but booking online is the best way to reserve your preferred time.
How long does a smog check take?
Most eligible vehicles are finished in about 15 minutes, although timing can vary by vehicle and shop traffic.
